Andrey - front and back end developer of CryptoSoul
Hi Andrew. Ready to tell users about yourself?
Hi Denis. Of course, I’ll be glad to share my work history at CryptoSoul.
You work at CryptoSoul more than anyone, not counting our founder, Sergey. How long have you been working and what is your position?
I officially started working at CryptoSoul in May 2018, but my meeting with Sergey, the founder of the project, happened a little earlier, back in February of that year. I started out as a Front End website developer and am now a Full Stack Web Developer. There was a time when 3 developers worked on the site, then I was the team lead of the web development team, but now I'm the only one working on the site.
How did you come to be where you are now?
I met Sergey and the project in general when the development team was creating the CryptoSoul 3D game and they needed to make up a landing page (one-page site) that would help tell about the game and the immediate goals of the project. I could not think that I would work here, I thought it was a one-time order of my services.
What are your responsibilities?
Throughout the history of my work at CryptoSoul, I have worked as a front-end developer, back-end developer, team lead of a web development team. Now my responsibilities include the development of new functionality on the site, fixing bugs, optimizing the site, layout of new sections, and thinking over the user's next step in advance.
What do you like most about your work, our company?
I like communication with the team. I am probably the only developer who is located more than 900 km from the office and our entire team, but this does not prevent me from being constantly aware of all the events of our company. I like the processes when a task goes from an idea to the last, final stage, and our players write their feedback about our work. And of course I like what I do. Creating websites is my hobby, I've been doing it for over 10 years. I still remember how at the age of 14 I created my first website, it was my first step into the world of the Internet and development.
What is the main task you have been working on lately?
Recently, I have been working on a common referral system that will be able to combine all our games into one unit. After that, I will integrate the site and our new SOUL Wallet project, where the user's balance on the site will be a full-fledged crypto wallet. Each will have their own unique wallet from which they can send or receive SOUL tokens, ETH and other coins in the future.
What did you like the most to implement from what you have already done?
We used to have a lottery on our site, it was a project on the site where users bought tickets and selected numbers. Every week we broadcast random winners' numbers live, and our players could increase their balance on the site. I also want to note the Lucky Soul project, which we closed a week ago. It was a project within a project. My former colleague and I, in our free time, worked on a web game in which users made bets for their SOUL tokens, and the winner took the entire amount. It was a simple but very interesting game. A player could increase his balance several times in a few minutes.
What goals do you set for yourself while working at CryptoSoul?
My goal is to make the user's pastime on our site convenient and as clear as possible. So that the whole path is clear and there are no additional questions.
What, in your opinion, distinguishes CryptoSoul from other crypto projects?
The main feature of the project is its valuable game currency. There are millions of games in the world where players spend their money, and CryptoSoul is one of the few that pays players. The goal of other companies is to make money, the goal of our company is to make the player earn money.
What are you proud of at CryptoSoul?
I am proud that we managed to create a user-friendly interface on the site that even a child can understand. For me, it looks like a window into the world of cryptocurrency, where a user with knowledge of only one word "bitcoin" will be able to create his own wallet in 2 minutes and earn SOUL tokens in order to sell them in the future and make money.
How would you like to see our project in a few years?
I want CryptoSoul to have offices in several countries in a few years, so that the number of our players is not in hundreds of thousands, but in millions.
What do you say to our users?
I would like to appeal to everyone who reads this text. Remember how much 1 bitcoin was worth a few years ago. These were cents that turned into tens of thousands of dollars. Therefore, you need to understand that a similar situation can happen with other cryptocurrencies, so you need to be interested in this, analyze and believe in the success of crypto projects. We wouldn't be doing this if we didn't feel successful. We had to go through a lot, but we confidently continue to do our job, create and develop games in the crypto world, so that each player can earn valuable currency playing games.
